Onboarding Companies

As an administrator in the FinverityOS portal, you can create two distinct types of company accounts: Funders and Customers.

Each company type serves a different function within the platform and is assigned a unique set of roles and permissions. Access and user management for each company are handled separately from their respective portals.

1. A Funder is an entity that provides the capital for transactions within the system. This role is typically assigned to:

  • Banks

  • Bank subsidiaries

  • Other types of fund managers

Funders have a specific set of permissions tailored to their role in financing transactions.

2. A Customer is a corporate entity that participates in transactions as a buyer, a seller, or both. Key features of a Customer account include:

  • Single Onboarding: Customers only need to be onboarded into the system once.

  • Program Matching: After onboarding, they can be matched with any relevant program on the platform.

Their permissions are designed to facilitate their transactional activities as either a buyer or seller.
