Contract Templates

What Are Contract Templates and Why Use Them?

Contract Templates is a feature on the Finverity platform that allows bank administrators to define reusable, standardised contract documents — such as a Receivables Purchase Agreement or a Master Programme Agreement — once, and then have the platform automatically generate a personalised copy for each counterparty at the right moment in their onboarding or deal journey. Without this feature, banks typically rely on manually preparing and uploading a separate signed PDF for each company — a slow, error-prone process. With Contract Templates, the bank defines the contract structure once, and the platform handles generation, delivery, and acceptance automatically.

What this feature enables

Maintain reusable contract templates (e.g. Receivables Purchase Agreements) centrally in one place.

Automatically populate contract content from platform data using merge fields — placeholders like {{company.name}} or {{deal.name}} that are replaced with real values at generation time.

Control how contracts are signed or accepted — including no signature, manual signing, click-wrap electronic acceptance, or full eSignature.

Configure when each contract is required, using flexible conditions such as company country, deal, or company group.

Templates page

The Templates page serves as the central repository of all digital contract templates used across programmes, deals, and onboarding flows. Each row in the list displays:

  • Name — template name + filename of the uploaded Word document underneath

  • Status — Draft or Approved

  • Signature Type — e.g. No Signature, Manual, Click-wrap, eSignature

  • Created — date the template was created

  • Created By — the user who created it

  • Signed/Accepted — count of counterparties who have signed or accepted documents generated from this template

  • Actions — icons for: Approve (✅), Edit (✏️), View (👁), Download (⬇️), Delete (🗑)
